Maple Leafs Prospect Amirov Suffers Setback in Battle with Brain Cancer
Rodion Amirov is a promising young Maple Leafs' prospect.
Earlier this year, Amirov had completed treatments for brain cancer and was cleared to train for hockey.
Unfortunately, Amirov has experienced a setback that has forced him to stop training and have further treatments done to treat the cancer.
The 21-year old is hoping to overcome this challenge in his life and return to playing the sport we love.
We wish Rodion well as he continues this battle. Not just this month, but every month, is hockey fights cancer month.
We are all with Rodion and everyone who suffers from cancer each and every day.
