Marc-Andre Fleury Wants to Fight an NHL Goaltender Before He Retires
Marc-Andre Fleury has an incredible resume to his name and has basically achieved everything he possibly can except for one thing that he states he wants to do.
What is it he wants to achieve? He wants to get into a fight before his career is done.
After getting into a heated altercation with Evgeny Svechnikov, Fleury made these comments.
"Yeah, he gave me a little shrug," Fleury said as per The Athletic. «I don't know. I wouldn't mind it. I had a fight in junior and broke a knuckle, I had to miss a few weeks. It's the end of the season, so no time for that."
"I kind of want (a fight). But it's not the right time to fool around," said Fleury since they are trying to hold onto the second playoff spot in the West.
This is a veteran thought process as he would rather not chance a injury with the playoffs being so close. Without a doubt if flower wants a fight he will get one before the end of his career, the only question everyone is going to ask is, who will it be against?
