The past few months and the word controversy in the hockey world has been buzzing with hockey news, especially about Milan Lucic and Corey Perry facing some legal trouble.
Lucic got into a situation, pleaded not guilty, and the Boston Bruins said goodbye to him. His contract can't be cut until the legal stuff is sorted out, which is reported abuse towards his wife.
In the middle of all this, Lucic is trying out different things for cash. Recently, a revelation was made that Lucic has officially registered at a place where fans can get sports people to talk at public/private events.
What's surprising is he's on there with other famous Bruins like
David Pastrnak and
Brad Marchand. With his recent troubles, it's not clear if he'll get picked for public events or if this is the right move for Lucic.
We'll see if this helps him out or causes more problems. Milan Lucic is starting a different journey, leaving the ice behind for a new spot on the stage in the sports world.
