NHL Announces Super Odd New Feature to Next Years All-Star Game
The NHL has huge plans for this year's All Star Game, whether they can execute it is up to them. Garry Bettman is good when it comes to this stuff and he certainly has the money to do everything he's planning on doing.
They want to put a show on in two states, Nevada and Florida. Nevada is going to have concerts in Las Vegas, and Florida is going to host the ASG in South Florida, along with concerts and other festivities.
The NHL wants to "take over the beaches" in Fort Lauderdale with concerts. It would make great revenue and be a good way to promote and get people to watch the game. Fanfare is included with the concerts. All of the concerts will be held on the sand, and will include more festivities in Vegas to be announced soon.
They also want to have live alligators for the outdoor events in Florida. It would fit the Florida theme very well, since it is hot, and Florida is known for their beaches. The actual game inside will not include live alligators.
There is still a lot of time before the game, and plans can always change.
