After Nathan MacKinnon's heartbreaking press conference when the Avalanche were eliminated and MacKinnon would say, "I'm going in my ninth year here and haven't won s**t. "
Fast-forward one year later and congratulations Nathan MacKinnon you finally won s**t and it was awesome!
Later NHL Watcher on tweeter revealed,
"Someone came over to Nathan MacKinnon and said «87», Emily Kaplan asked him what «87» meant, says they knew they were gonna win once he got room 1787 (hotel room #), adds they all love Sid."
That's not all Nathan MacKinnon would make a challenge to Sidney Crosby for his party saying,
"I've been the drunkest guy at two of his he better me at mine he's my Idol."
