New Report Leaked That a Surprising New Team is Interested Jonathan Toews
It has been the talk of the town all year in Chicago: "where will Kane and Toews end up?"
Both players combined have been linked to just about every playoff contender at one point or another.
Well, a new team has entered the conversation, and this one is a bit of a surprise.
That is correct, the Seattle Kraken are apparently looking to see what they can do to acquire the veteran captain.
This is a surprise to me, because the Kraken were towards the bottom of the league last year. Now, they currently sit at 30-18-8, and are 3rd in the Pacific. they are just two points behind the division leading Vegas Knights.
It would be strange to see the Kraken make a move for a splash player, like Toews, as I don't think membership will want to sell future assets to try to make a run over some of the top teams like the Bruins, Canes, and Devils.
They have a chance to make a run in the Western Conference, but it seems like the Eastern Conference will hoist the cup in the end.
