On this day in 2015 the Chicago Blackhawks had created a phenomenal dynasty, hoisting the Stanley Cup for the third time in just five years.
The Blackhawks kicked off the remarkable half of a decade defeating the Philadelphia Flyers in 200910, beat down the Bruins in 201213, and shutout the Lightning in game six for the big three in 201415.
Blackhawks legend Corey Crawford was in net for the 2014-15 shutout win to lift Lord Stanley, the Chicago Blackhawks won two to nothing- Despite his outstanding play during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, posting a .924 SV% with 2.31 GAA. Duncan Keith was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy, after the Blackhawks defeated the Lightning to win the Stanley Cup, Duncan Keith, who had 21 points and scored the championship-winning goal, was awarded the Conn Smythe.
Duncan Keith spent 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks being apart of all three of the Stanley Cup runs, winning the Conn Smythe once, James Norris Memorial Trophy in 2009-10 and 2013-14, a long with the three Stanley Cups.
Unfortunately the Chicago Blackhawks haven't been able to find the same glory since 2015, so hopefully with the first overall draft pick in this years draft things can turn around again.
