One year ago today, Blackhawks Nation and the hockey world work at shock and deeply saddened with the passing of a legendary goaltender, Tony Esposito.
No. 35: Tony Esposito (G, 1970-84)
No goaltender in Blackhawks history has more games played (873), wins (418) or shutouts (74) than Esposito, who is a six-time NHL All-Star, three-time Vezina Trophy winner and Calder Cup recipient. Tony O was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and had his No. 35 jersey retired by the Blackhawks in 1988.
