Blackhawks prospect Nolan Allan was involved in a massive trade today between the Prince Albert Raiders and the Seattle Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds received 6 draft picks and 3 players in exchange for Allan and another prospect.

Allan is now on the same team as Blackhawks top defensive prospect Kevin Korchinski. Allan was selected 32nd overall in the 2021 draft and Korchinski was selected 7th overall in the 2022 draft.

Both prospects are expected to be major players for the Blackhawks in the future. Having them on the same team and possibly the same defensive pairing would be a great opportunity for both prospects to develop a chemistry that can hopefully translate to Rockford and then to Chicago when the time is right for both players to take the leap and help the Blackhawks right the ship.
