The Chicago Blackhawks were in Anaheim Tuesday night to face-off against the Ducks in a draft lottery match up. Despite there still being about just under a month until the NHL's trade deadline day, many fans are still wondering what Patrick Kane is going to do.

Kane has numerous teams calling Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson in hopes to acquire Kane's services for the playoffs, it has been confirmed by multiple Blackhawks reporters, and Kane himself recently. However, it's been recently revealed by the Athletic's Hockey reporter Arthur Staples that Kane is dealing with a nagging hip injury and needs to have season ending surgery to repair it.

Despite Kane obviously playing in pain he seems to keep wanting to play. Hockey, and Blackhawks Insider Ben Pope would talk about that and the teams concerns about Kane's injury.

There have been reports of interested teams worrying about Kane's nagging injury slowing him down, but he said he's not thinking about that when he's on the ice.

Kane stated the following in an interview today:

«That's not really something for me to worry about. I just go about it the best I can.»

Kane said he's going to answer soon whether he's going to stay or get traded, Kane's likely going to decide if he's healthy enough to go into the playoffs or get the surgery and return healthy next season.
