The Chicago Blackhawks returned to action Tuesday night vs the Anaheim Ducks in Anaheim's Honda Center. Both teams are hoping to win the NHL draft Lottery for Connor Bedard.
The Blackhawks welcome back two faces lineup tonight as the team revealed that forward Tyler Johnson and defenceman Jared Tinordi will both Play vs the Ducks. This was quite the interesting announcement as it came just twenty minutes before the puck drop, that the Blackhawks have activated the two off of the injury reserve list. It also came as a huge surprise as Tyler Johnson had no timeline to return, it seems as if the Blackhawks were keeping injury information secretive until they had to submit their final game lineups just twenty minutes before the puck dropped.
Tinordi has been out of the lineup with a facial injury since December 18th vs the New York Rangers. Johnson has been out of the lineup with a ankle injury.
