Patrick Kane has been one, if not thee most talked about Blackhawk of the year, from trade rumors to a potential extension, Kane's name has been in it all.

Kane and Toews are both on the final year of there $10.5 million dollar contracts and will be unrestricted free agents this summer, meaning they can sign anywhere they'd like- or more so any where that shows interest.

Patrick Kane's agent has stated the Blackhawks and Kane's group will circle back to contract talks around January/February of 2023, Kane also stated he wanted to wait it out and get a feel for where the Blackhawks are headed this season.

The Blackhawks went on a 4 game win streak, and are third in their division above many good teams such as the Minnesota Wild, St.Louis Blues, Nashville Predators and other teams.

Throughout the Hawks' four-game win streak, the amount of times you seen a cheek-to-cheek smile on Patrick Kane's face, was way too many times to keep track of, Kane looked super happy and seemed to be enjoying every minute of it.

Kane spoke to the media after last nights last-minute 5-6 loss against the Edmonton Oilers and he addressed where he's at happiness wise with the team, take a look below:

Kane:

I am happy with the team. With this group, [we're] competitive every night and we have confidence that we're going to win. That's a team that got better over the summer and they went to a Conference Final last year, so we should feel good about where we're at.

You tie it with 3 minutes left and you think you're giving yourself a good chance at a point. [Then Draisaitl] finds those open areas. That's what he's so good at. That's why he scores so many goals
