Patrick Kane offers kind words to Jeanneret family

He began calling Sabres games back in the team's second season, from 1971-1972, and went on to receive the prestigious Foster Hewitt award from the Hockey Hall of Fame in
2012.
Sharing my sympathy with the Jeanneret family on Rick's passing. He was one of the biggest reasons I liked the Sabres so much growing up. RIP RJ.
Jeanneret's legendary commentary made him an icon among fans and players alike, including Patrick Kane, who recently offered his condolences to the Jeanneret family and expressed how much listening to Jeanneret meant to him as a Sabres fan growing up.
Kane's heartfelt tribute is a testament to the impact that Jeanneret had on the world of hockey and the many lives he touched during his storied career.
