Former Blackhawk and Montreal Canadian Andrew Shaw seems to have entered his hat in the ring to become the new head coach of the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League.
The IceDogs took to social media to announce the firing of their head coach earlier today. Shaw expressed his interest in the coaching gig by commenting "give me a call" on the Instagram post.
Shaw played 544 games in the NHL where he won two Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015. Shaw had to cut his playing career short due to his concussion history. Shaw also played for Niagara from 2008 to 2010 during his time playing junior hockey before making it to the NHL. Do you think this would be a good move for Andrew Shaw?
