Patrick Kane, a loving member of the Chicago Blackhawks for sixteen years was recently traded away in hopes to 'get another Stanley Cup', Kane stated 'that's the goal right?'. Kane's time in Chicago was expected to expire since the start of the year when him and his agent stated they will make a final decision on what the future holds in the New Year.

Before being traded to the New York Rangers, Patrick Kane lead the NHL throughout his last four games as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks in point totals, alongside his final game as a Blackhawk with a two-goal performance.

Since, Kane was held out of six straight games for trade related reasons and did not practice on any occasion aside from one morning skate. Kane went into his New York Rangers debut 'rusty', as he said himself.

Kane's Rangers debut ended in a heartbreaking 3-5 loss to the dwelling Ottawa Senators, Kane held a =/- rating of (negative) -2, and had four shots on goal. Nobody expected Kane to have a breakout game as he had been off the ice for 10 consecutive days before hand, but it seems as if Rangers fans sure did, and some even took the opportunity and called out Kane on twitter, disrespecting the veteran:

'If Patrick Kane's lazy ass isn't gonna bother to do anything, can he just go back to Chicago?'

Hopefully some Rangers fans can wake up a bit, and respect the 16-year NHL veteran a little more moving forward.
