A pair of records were set Tuesday night in the NHL. Tampa Bay captain Steven Stamkos scored three points in a 4-3 loss to Detroit, giving him 953 in his career, tying Marty St. Louis for the most in team history.
Nashville centre Matt Duchene's second period deflection gave him 40 goals on the season, the first Pred to accomplish the feat, in a 3-2 shootout win over the Calgary Flames. It was also Duchene's 900th career game.
By the way, Nashville's Filip Forsberg is right on Duchene's heels as he scored his 39th in the contest.
