Right now Montreal Canadiens fans worldwide are showing their concern for one of their young prospects. Vinzenz Rohrer was drafted by the Canadiens in this summer's NHL draft in the 3rd round 75th overall.
The 18 year-old from Austria is currently playing for the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League. Last night the young prospect was rushed to local hospital after being blindsided by a player off the Kingston Frontenacs.
Rohrer fell awkwardly onto his neck and what fans in attendance witnessed he began to convulse. The 67's medical staff rush to his aid and the Arena paramedics carried Rohrer off the ice on a stretcher to local hospital.
Hawks Insider wants to take a minute to give our thoughts and prayers to Vinzenz Rohrer and the Montreal Canadiens Organization at this time.
