3 Chicago Blackhawks Receive a HUGE Well-Deserved Honouring
Three Blackhawks' prospects have been selected to represent the Icehogs, and the Blackhawks, at the 2023 AHL All-Star Game in Laval.
Leading the pack is the Blackhawks' top prospect, Lukas Reichel. Reichel likely won't attend the game, as he seems to be adjusting to the NHL style of play with Chicago. In 32 games played, Reichel collected 36 points, with 14 goals and 22 assists. There was controversy as to whether or not Reichel should start the season in Rockford or Chicago, but it seems the decision to send him to Rockford was the best for his development.
Selected with Reichel are his teammates, David Gust and Brett Seney. Gust is a veteran at age 28, but age doesn't matter for him, as he has collected 37 points in 34 games this season.
Brett Seney has had a wonderful season with Rockford, as he has 38 points in 32 games this year, as a winger. His solid play even earned him a brief promotion to the NHL to cover for injury.
The future is bright in Chicago, but there will be plenty of headaches before things are all dandelions and sunshine.
