All season the Hawks were building up to this moment. Even when it's trading all your star players at the trade deadline, seeing players retire, etc, it's all lead to this one moment.
The NHL Draft Lottery.
The Blackhawks will be picking first overall in this year's draft. There is no doubt that they will select generational talent Connor Bedard.
Bedard had 279 points in 139 career WHL games. Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and more have all given him his props. Bedard mentioned in an interview that he looks up to Sidney Crosby.
The only question is: will he wear #98 or #16?
