The Chicago Blackhawks Organization Is Going Viral Over Their Top Prospects All-Star Game Performance
We knew that Lukas Reichel was a pretty quick fella, but I don't know if we knew exactly how quick.
Well, it turns out that Lukas Reichel is right up there with some of the top speedsters at the NHL level.
At the skills competition, Reichel posted a 13.779 second score in the Fastest Man competition. The winner of the NHL's Fastest Man, Andrei Svechnikov, recorded a 13.699.
Unfortunately for Reichel, he did not win the AHL's Fastest Man, as Ethen Frank, of the Hershey Bears, shattered the AHL record with a 12.915 mark.
Lukas Reichel is being cautiously progressed for the Blackhawks. They have zero plans of winning right now, so they feel it is best to let Reichel stay in Rockford and be the best player on the team to help his development.
This strategy led to some major controversy, but unfortunately, us fans aren't the ones calling the shots.
