Two Blackhawks prospects continue to soar in playoffs.
The Blackhawks organization is looking for any hope from their prospect pool as the team has decided to tear down and rebuild the roster into a new image. With the exits of Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, and many other household names of the mid-2010s.
The Blackhawks hope their upcoming stars will steer the team in the right direction. Two of their prospects are making noise in the WHL with the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Defenceman Kevin Korchinski and forward Colton Dach have been giving the Thunderbirds some plays and well-needed offences to try to carry the team forward.
Korchinski was selected in the first round with the draft pick from the Alex Debrincat trade to the Ottawa Senators. He is having a great playoff where he has played twelve games has scored one goal, with 10 assists, for 11 points and is a + 7.
Meanwhile, Colton who happens to be the younger brother of former Blackhawks centre Kirby Dach is also having a great playoff with the Thunderbirds. He has played twelve games, has scored three goals with nine assists, for 12 points and is a + 9. He holds 12 penalty minutes and has two game-winning goals.
The Thunderbirds are holding a 3-1 lead against the Kamloops Blazers and are one away from taking the series to heading to the championship.
