The Chicago Blackhawks pulled off a couple of major blockbusters this offseason and one of them saw them land top tier defenseman Seth Jones. Of course landing Jones meant giving something up and that meant 2018 first round pick Adam Boqvist went the other way. The 20 year old who went 8th overall has slowly been growing his game and believes he can reach the next level in Columbus. "I think when I played my first year, I was more an offensive defenseman, and now I think the coaches trust me a little more in the D-zone," he said. "I think I have taken some steps there in the right direction. I am not the guy who is going to go out and put people on the glass, big hits and stuff, but if I have a good stuck and good feet, I think I'm pretty smart out there, so hopefully I can read the play. I think that's going to help my game." His goal is to become one of the top defenseman in the league. "I have some experience but I still want to grow my game to be one of the top defensemen in the league," he said. "That's going to take some time, but I'm looking forward to putting in the work. Everything is up to me, and I just have to do it." What do you think of Boqvist's comments?
