"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made a roster announcement on Thursday. The team has called up defenseman Adam Boqvist from the AHL. It's huge news for the Blackhawks organization after they announced that Kirby Dach would play the full season in Chicago. This is also huge news for the Blackhawks blueline as they currently have basically zero puck moving defenseman in the group. The 19 year old defenseman has one goal in six games so far this season in Rockford after putting up 20 goals and 40 assists in 54 games last year in the OHL. More to come.
