"The Chicago Blackhawks came close to taking down the red hot Carolina Hurricanes last night but weren't able to get it done eventually losing 4-3. This morning the team announced that they've made some roster moves. Reese Johnson has been assigned to the AHL while a young defenseman has been called up. 2018 1st round pick Nicolas Beaudin has been called up after starting the season in Rockford. He's registered 3 points in 5 games so far in the AHL and 22 year old will hopefully get some NHL action. Beaudin played in 19 games for the Blackhawks last year where he registered 6 points in 19 games.
