"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a roster move on Thursday. The team has placed defenseman Calvin de Haan on injured reserve. Bowman didn't announce any other details regarding the injury or timetable for a return at the moment, however we might hear more later. It's the year of the injured defenseman for the Blackhawks with Duncan Keith already on injured reserve and Connor Murphy spending the debut of the season there.
