BREAKING Brent Seabrook Has Retired.
"It's something we all kind of saw coming and now it looks to be official. Brent Seabrook's hockey career has come to an end. It's been revealed that Seabrook has been placed on long term injured reserve as he's unable to play anymore and will retire at the end of his contract. He of course had three surgeries during the offseason and tried to come back but just wasn't able to. General manager Stan Bowman had mentioned earlier this season that he was worried about Bowman's future. Seabrook won three Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks and an Olympic Gold medal with Team Canada. This is a developing story and more details will be announced later today.
