Hawks Place Defenseman On Waivers.
As reported earlier, Chicago Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman was desperately trying to move two defenseman.
Bowman was trying to find suitors for both Brandon Manning and Jan Rutta.
Well it looks like Bowman has given up or couldn't find a suitor as he placed one on waivers.
Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports that Bowman has placed Rutta on waivers.
Rutta will become UFA after this season and has registered six points in 23 games.
