BREAKING Hawks Sign Top Prospect.

"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a contract signing on Monday. After lots of speculation and chatter over the weekend, the Blackhawks made it official to start the week. The team has officially signed 2017 2nd round pick Ian Mitchell to his entry level contract. The 21 year old will skip his senior year at the University of Denver to try and make the Chicago Blackhawks roster next year. He registered 10 goals and 22 assists in 36 games this past season for Denver. The Blackhawks blueline is really shaping up to have lots of potential with Adam Boqvist, Lucas Carlsson, Nicolas Beaudin, Alec Regula and now Mitchell.
