"The Chicago Blackhawks are wrapped up in all kinds of trade rumors recently. The biggest one lately was that the Blackhawks would have a meeting with defenseman Duncan Keith about removing his full no movement clause. While that's yet to happen, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported that the Hawks had that sit down with Brent Seabrook. Friedman reported over the weekend that the Hawks asked Seabrook to remove his no movement clause, Friedman added that Seabrook said no and wanted nothing to do with any trade talk. Seabrook was asked about the report and clearly stated it was false. He added that he has no idea where the report even comes from.
Brent Seabrook says he has not been approached by the #Blackhawks to waive his no movement clause. "It's news to me... I don't know where the reports are coming from." pic.twitter.com/8ymPFcTXjU — Eric Lear (@BHTVeric) February 4, 2019
