The Chicago Blackhawks don't have many big name free agents they have to worry about this offseason. Aside from goalie Corey Crawford who's likely to stick around, general manager Stan Bowman will only have some restricted free agents to get under contract. Will they all stay? Not likely considering that not only is the NHL salary cap not expected to grow next year, but it's expected to stay the same for the next three years. That's bad news for a lot of younger players looking for new contracts and a nice payday. One of those who isn't feeling too good about it is soon to be Blackhawks restricted free agent Drake Caggiula. Things are lining up in a really weird way for Caggiula. He and his wife have a baby coming in November and with how things are set up currently, he'll also find out where he'll be playing in November.«It's really stressful,» he said. «It's hard enough when we're sitting by our phones just waiting for the call to say, Hey, we need you to come back now.' That part's already stressful. Then you add in next year, when you're a restricted free agent, and you don't know what the salary cap is, so there's a good chance that one, two, three or four guys could get moved. There's a lot of uncertainty right now to begin with, then you add in free agency and it's very, very difficult.» You gotta feel for the guy!
