As of right now, the Chicago Blackhawks are right smack in the middle of a playoff race. If things continue like this and the Hawks are looking like they'll grab a spot, the team won't move any big names at the deadline. However if things go the opposite way, the Blackhawks will likely be sellers at the deadline. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that if selling is the case, there's a big chance defenseman Duncan Keith is asked to waive his no movement clause. Friedman believes that Florida Panthers head coach Joel Quenneville would request to speak with Keith about waiving that clause and pitching him the benefits of going down to south Florida. After Keith Yandle and Aaron Ekblad, there's lots of question marks on the Panthers blueline and Keith would give the team a boost. They don't have the cap space to take on Keith's deal alone, so the Blackhawks would need to take some money back which could be 25 year old defenseman Michael Matheson who looks like he needs a change of scenery. Do you see Keith waiving his no movement clause to go play with Quenneville?
