October 28th, 2023, was a sad day in hockey when former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Adam Johnson got cut in the neck with the skate blade of Matt Petgrave and passed away.
Right after the incident, since it was broadcasted live, the footage went all over the internet.
Many fans were wondering how Petgrave's leg went up like that, and happened to strike Johnson.
Well, Petgrave has not pleaded guilty nor innocent yet, or any wrongdoing, as investigators on Monday said to the BBC that they're extending Petgrave's bail to November 11th of this year, stating that they are not done with the investigation process.
The following spokesperson said this:
"Our investigation is ongoing, and our thoughts remain with Adam's family.
Prayers go to Johnson's family during this difficult time.
