The Chicago Blackhawks will once again take part in an outdoor game when they face the Boston Bruins on January 1st.
For the occasion Blackhawks' goalie Cam Ward has had a special mask painted up.
His mask is a tribute to Hall Of Fame goalie Charlie Gardiner who helped lead the Hawks' to their first Stanley Cup back in 1934.
The mask is hand painted and air brushed by Steve Nash of Eye Candy Air who has put together some pretty classic masks.
