After making a move to land Dylan Stome and Brendan Perlini from the Arizona Coyotes for Nick Schmaltz, it doesn't seem that general manager Stan Bowman is done.
Scott Powers of The Athletic reports that Bowman is working diligently to trade both Brandon Manning and Jan Rutta.
Much like Chris Kunitz, the Brandon Manning offseason signing by Bowman has been a bust, Manning has one more year left on his deal.
Rutta will become UFA after this season and the duo have combined for just nine points.
Powers adds that Bowman is willing to take basically a bag of pucks for either player as Bowman really wants to get both salaries off the books.
