The Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson has pulled off a fleece of a trade to select a very specific player.
BREAKING: Blackhawks take winger Marek Vanacker with the 27th overall pick, which they just traded both 2nd round picks to acquire from Carolina. Trade: Blackhawks acquire the Carolina Hurricanes' pick No. 27 for picks No. 34 and 50 (second round).

Vanacker, a 6-foot winger, tallied 82 points (36G, 46A) in 68 OHL games with the Brantford Bulldogs alongside Nick Lardis this past season!
