Blackhawks Prospect Receives Major Punishment for this Gesture
One of the Chicago Blackhawks' best prospects was the recipient of supplementary discipline in the QMJHL.
Samuel Savoie, a forward for the Gatineau Olympics, in the QMJHL scored an empty net goal, ending the game with a decisive 5-2 score ended his night with a celly.
He would wave "goodbye" to the opposing team, Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, and would receive a swift punishment afterward.
The celebration may have not been with ill intention when all is said and done, but he was still ejected soon after it.
The incident seems to be far disciplinary more than what is needed for the prospect, but he has his first taste of injustice in the QMJHL before he arrives in a league governed by Gary Bettman.
