It's sad to see this kind of behavior, especially from hockey fans during an NHL game. A video on social media shows two guys who seem to be Toronto Maple Leafs fans acting pretty awful.
They're getting a lot of backlash for what they did in the video they shared online.
In the video, a big guy wearing a tight Maple Leafs jersey takes a leather hat from an older fan sitting in front of him. It looks like he did it after Maple Leafs player Auston Matthews scored three goals, and then he threw the stolen hat onto the ice without asking the owner.
At first, the older fan seems happy, but then he realizes his hat's gone, and he's not happy anymore. The big guy tries to blame the cameraman, but it's clear they planned it together.
The older fan calls them disrespectful, and hopefully, the Maple Leafs will help him get his hat back.
If these guys are recognized at a game in the future, they probably won't be welcomed very nicely.
