Martin Misiak was drafted in the 2nd round, 55th overall during the 2023 NHL entry draft.
He has since changed organizations as he played for the Youngstown Phantoms during the 2022-2023 season and began his junior hockey career in the OHL, with the Erie Otters.
He has played 60 games in the OHL with the Otters, posting 47 points(23 G, 24 A) during the 2023-2024 season so far.
However, according to tonight's projected lines for the OHL club, he will not be drawn into the lineup tonight.
This is surprising considering the last 5 games, he had a 7-point streak, posting 5 goals and 2 assists.
The reason for Misiak being absent from the lineup has not been given, but most recently has been playing 3rd line center for the Otters.
