Connor Bedard involved in rough altercation at Team Canada
Connor Bedard has the fishbowl off and is already trying to get into trouble, as he got into an altercation during exhibition play.
Bedard is seen here getting separated from the opposition by referees, as they don't play with violence in the international stage of play.
Jamie Oleksiak, known as "Big Rig" in the NHL and not the Pat Maroon variant, stepped into to make sure Bedard was protected.
As you can see the IIHF World Championships haven't even begun and Bedard is trying to get into trouble.
Needless to say, we're going to need Bedard to have a big IIHF Tournament, since we don't get to enjoy Blackhawks hockey in the post-season.
Bedard was the star of Canada's goal medal-winning 2023 World Junior Championship team in Nova Scotia. Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard confirmed on Saturday he will play for Canada at the upcoming IIHF World Championship, running May 10-26 in Prague, Czechia.
