Things go from bad to worse for former Bruins' Lucic after court case
If things couldn't get worse for a former NHL enforcer, they sure have.
Milan Lucic's marriage has ended. Reports say they split after facing problems for a while.
Trouble started in November 2023 when Lucic got arrested after arguments at home. The charges were dropped later, his wife called 911 during a alleged fight between the two, leading to the Boston Bruins making Lucic take a break from playing. Lucic plead not guilty.
The NHL also takes these situations seriously, players usually get suspended while they check things out. It's not clear if Lucic will play again, his wife wants custody of their kids and financial support.
Lucic is taking time off and asking for privacy throughout these times.
