BREAKING: The Chicago Blackhawks have completed a major move involving a defensemen
The Chicago Blackhawks have had to make a personnel move as they have recalled defenseman Louis Crevier from the Rockford Icehogs.
The move was made today because the team had to place defenseman Nikita Zaitsev on the injured reserve.
Zaitsev's right knee was injured, and he had to leave the Blackhawks game early on Tuesday, when they defeated the San Jose Sharks.
Crevier, who has played 13 games with the team in 2023-2024, has contributed three assists so far in his short stint in the NHL.
He made his NHL debut on December 3rd, 2023, against the Minnesota Wild and got his first NHL point with an assist against the St. Louis Blues on December 9th.
The Chicago Blackhawks will play against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, and Crevier will get another chance to prove his worth in the NHL.
