Blackhawks arrive at Wrigley Field With Themed Entrance for Winter Classic vs Blues

The Chicago Blackhawks have arrived at Wrigley Field and if you didn't catch them when they arrived at Sheffield Avenue, we have exclusive pics here.
The team has arrived in their themed outfits for the day, and like any other NHL team, it has a unique feel to add to the game tonight.
Often NHL teams, whether just for fun or for jokes have arrived at the Winter Classic wearing themed gear, as the Seattle Kraken and Vegas Golden Knights did last year.
While we don't know who specifically in the Blackhawks decided to go with this theme, did but it is a great look into the humor, and the personality surrounding this year's team.
This year, the Blackhawks arrived at Wrigley Field wearing classic Nike Air Jordan 1's, and puffer jackets, and others wore beige get-ups. A complete call back to the 80s and 90s, there's a ton of drip in that video.
While the Blackhawks have shown up in their outfits, we just hope the St. Louis Blues show up wearing big L's.
Because that's all they're going to get tonight against the Blackhawks.
The reason for the outfits? The special circumstances are a given, as this is the largest game for two teams in the NHL yearly.
The teams play outdoors on a foreign ice surface surrounded by the largest crowd they're like to ever play in front of. The annual outdoor tradition is the most prominent regular-season game on the NHL calendar - the only one with a pomp and circumstance that includes a four-week documentary leading up to it. Throw in two storied franchises with one of the most heated rivalries in sports, and you get something singularly, truly special.
And NHLers get to play in historic baseball parks as they have this year.
This Winter Classic game is meant to evoke a spirit of old-time hockey and reignite rivalries that span decades.
The look and the feel of Wrigley Field is a great backdrop to an event that is full of pomp, circumstance, and superstars.
