Chicago Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno gets explicit in an interview directed at fellow teammate

The Blackhawks, elated by snapping their four-game losing streak against the Los Angeles Kings which led captain Nick Foligno To give his take on Ryan Donato's shootout goal.

The goal itself was fantastic as Donato fake out Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper which led him to be out of position and Donato shoveling the puck right around him. The bench went berserk as the team felt the weight on their shoulders being lifted a little.

Foligno who was in his first year as Blackhawks captain continues to show why the choice was made as he continues to build up his teammates and show the leadership that he had when he was captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

«It's not the way we want to draw it up, but we got the result, which is what we've been talking about,» Foligno said. «We obviously know we can play better and need to play better, but to find a way to come back in this game and get it done is a testament to the guys in here."

The 37-year-old captain has been in the league since 2006 when he was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the first round 28th pick overall. He has had several stops in his career including the senators, Blue Jackets, Bruins, Maple Leafs and the Blackhawks. Throughout his career he has played 1168 games, scoring 236 goals with 331 assists for 567 points.

The Blackhawks finished their six-game road trip with a record of 3-3-0 as they also defeated the Anaheim Ducks yesterday by a score of 4-2. The Blackhawks will now head home to take on the Detroit Red Wings which will take place on Wednesday November 6th and game time will be 8:00 PM eastern.
