During a media scrum, Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard was asked if he would lay a hit on Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane as both stars will be facing off against one another on Wednesday.

Bedard had a good laugh over the comment as he felt that he would rather not hit Kane as he did when they first faced off against one another last February. Bedard along with the Blackhawks are currently working out their inconsistencies this season as the team has rattled off two wins in a row while they were on their six-game road trip.

Bedard himself has been working on his game as he has shown his frustration on the bench and in comments to the media as the losing had begun to overwhelm him. Bedard has shown true leadership and his professionalism as he along with the team have kept pressing on and now have been rewarded.

Through 13 games this season, Bedard has scored three goals with 9 assists for 12 points and a - 1 as he potted 3 assists against the Anaheim Ducks on November 3rd.
With the team showing signs of turning things around, general manager Kyle Davidson yesterday gave his vote of confidence on his coach Luke Richardson and turn down the rhetoric of the potential of seeing him fired from his job.

The Blackhawks will take to the ice on Wednesday as they face off against the Detroit Red Wings and fans will get to see whether Kane and Bedard will battle along the boards and throughout the game. Game time will be at 8:00 PM eastern. The game will be televised on TNT.
