The terrible news about last night was the 5-2 loss to the Utah Hockey Club and Clayton Keller.

Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks would attempt to make a comeback late in the 2nd, as Teuvo Tervainen would score, along with Captain Nick Foligno.

Bedard however wouldn't come out empty-handed in the loss to Utah, as he came out with a multi-point outing.

That resulted in another game, where he made history, as he recorded 2 points last night.

But is only the 2nd Blackhawk ever to record a point on consecutive opening nights, as a teenager.

The last person to do that now works for the Seattle Kraken, Eddie Olcyzk.

It sounds almost too good to be true, and with Bedard, it seems to always be so. He would also try to score on a Michigan against Utah Goalie #39, Connor Ingram but was shut down right away.

Nevertheless, Bedard only 19 joins Eddie Olczyk in the history books of Chicago and hopefully, this won't be the only way he does it.

Last year Bedard made history in other ways as well, being the youngest NHL All-Star for the Blackhawks in January too.

Connor Bedard, who turned 18 years old in July, became the youngest NHL All-Star in history Thursday night.

Bedard will represent the Blackhawks during the 2024 NHL All-Star Game on Feb. 3 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. He is the team's first representative since Alex DeBrincat in 2022.

The Blackhawks gave up their opening night, with a 3-goal deficit and will have to find a way to make the defense stuffy for the other team.

Connor Bedard and Philipp Kurashev would be the drivers of offense, along with Nick Foligno, and Teuvo Teraveinen lending their hand with scoring 2 goals which would give us hope they could tie the game.

But that would never materialize despite the fact.
