Disgraced NHL Referee Tim Peel Calls Out Blackhawks Connor Bedard

Tim Peel was fired by the NHL after the NHL says referee Tim Peel will no longer work games after hot mic incident

Known for his controversy on ice, it has now been brought to his off-ice opinions, since being fired Peel has practically lived on the social media platform 'X', formerly known as Twitter.

Two former first overall are now the center of Peel's attention and call out spree on X, and that is San Jose Sharks Macklin Celebrini, and Chicago Blackhawks Connor Bedard.

Both players have shown great signs of leading their franchise for many years to come so early on into their careers, they've paved a true strong name for themselves as NHL 'stars'.

But Peel decided to compare the two in his recent X call out, and bashed Connor Bedard during the process.

Calling Bedard overrated, as seen below:

Instead of appreciating both players and comparing the two evenly, as stats prove, Peel decided to paint Bedard as 'overrated'.

Bedard is over 100 games into his NHL career and has little to no talent surrounding him in Chicago, Kyle Davidson, the team's general manager, has failed Bedard- who has proven above expectations with his linemates.

Bedard's managed to put up 32 goals, totalling for 94 points in those 106 games thus far into his career which is quite impressive considering Seth Jones is the team's best defenseman, and the teams best forward aside from Bedard is.... Taylor Hall, or Tyler Bertuzzi?

Not discrediting Celebrini whatsoever, as he's exceeded above expectations, with 27 points in 28 games so far this season he is a clear competitor for the Calder trophy.

At 18 and 19 years of age for the two sensations, both do not deserve any discredit this early in their careers- perhaps a few more years of panning out and a period of growth, than fans can start deciding if Bedard is a 'bust' or 'overrated', but surely not yet with Bedard's support in Chicago.
