He has since moved on to broadcasting in 2018 for the Chicago Blackhawks and would land Vermont to become a part of the coaching staff in 2021 and follow that up, by returning to the team that drafted him the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023.
He joined the team as a special adviser to Keith Jones and Hockey Operations for the Flyers.
With that news, you couldn't help but speculate what would happen with his home here in Chicago.
Well, it was put up for sale recently, and on April 1st( yes, April Fool's Day) not a joke, Patrick Sharp sold the Lincoln Park Condo off-market for a handsome sum.
The sale totaled $715K, which is good for the Sharps as they get one headache off the market, considering they haven't lived in Lincoln Park since 2012.
Sharp originally bought the condo from the building developer for $645K, so a meager profit on an investment totaling more than a decade.
Sharp owned property in the Chicago area, as recently as 2021, when he sold a mansion he originally bought in 2012 for $2.95 Million, and a Mansion in the Southport Corridor in the Lakeview Neighborhood sold for $3.14 Million.
