It was reported by Mark Lazerus that the Blackhawks team store had cancelled the fans winter classic jersey orders due to a lack of inventory.
After speaking with Fanatics, the jersey manufacturer for the Blackhawks and the NHL, Lazerus said that it was only a minor logistical error and that all orders will be fulfilled.
This issue may only affect between 10 and 12 people but it's certainly something that the Chicago Blackhawks organization does not want to happen as it has had a few
stumbles here and there over the past couple of months.
The team itself has not performed up to standards while being dead last in the Western Conference. Several players are reaching the points of frustration including Connor Bedard who is visibly showing his frustration on the ice in front of the fans.
As for the corporation, it had stumbled early on with the release of their new television networks CHSN which has not come to a carriage agreement with Comcast which would allow more televisions and more devices to see the games on that network.
Fans have reported issues with watching the games, blackouts surrounding the Chicago area and prices that are far too expensive considering how poor the service has been.
As the season moves well into December and the Christmas holiday is approaching, Danny Wirtz and his corporation hope that these problems will be behind them for the new year and that the team can turn a page on this first half of the season and hope for a better outcome.
