SHOWTIME! Patrick Kane Lifts Red Wings in OT Win against the Ottawa Senators to make it five straight wins
Patrick Kane showed everyone why they call him «Showtime» in an exciting overtime moment for the Detroit Red Wings tonight.
The 35-year-old, known for his clutch plays, scored the game-winning goal in OT to give the Red Wings their fifth straight win, a 4-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators.
It was vintage Kane-calm, smart, and electric.
With time running out in overtime, Kane found an opening fired the puck into the top corner. The crowd at Little Caesars Arena went wild.
Detroit fans are already loving Kane, but Chicago still holds him close to their hearts. Kane will always be a Blackhawks legend-a three-time Cup champion and MVP.
Kane's comeback couldn't have been timed better. After having
Crucial offseason surgery and missing months of action, some wondered if he'd ever be the same player. But tonight, he showed everyone that he's still Showtime.
The Red Wings are rolling and right in the playoff race.
