We all know how bonkers Connor Bedard's life was last season, from being selected 1st overall in 2023, to playing in the World Juniors, and following it up with roller hockey.

Then he'd make it out to development camp in 2023, where he'd learn about his home away from home, Chicago.

But there are always quirky stories behind the scenes, people won't tell, or isn't really relevant to the player's current situation.

But the Blackhawks News Hub on TikTok had a funny story, where he, and his son Taylor were in the same rink with Connor Bedard:

Taylor finished a skating lesson in Iroquois Park, in Whitby, Ontario. The variable in the story is the coach, who works with elite, NHL talent and as soon as Taylor was headed off the ice, Bedard walked on to practice.

This was fresh off his World Junior Championships run and would start his private practice. He and Taylor would sit in the bleachers and he'd leave telling him to stay put just in case they mistake him for Bedard's friend.

Word spread that Bedard was in the rink which caused a ruckus of people wanting to see the 1st overall pick in practice. This caused the rink to be locked up to keep the practice private.

Of course, Taylor got to see an elite player in action and would later ask Bedard for his photograph, the rink's staff realized the huge mistake they made, as Taylor wasn't his friend. But they obliged him anyway and took a photograph, and Bedard seemed cool about the whole situation.

What is Bedard's ceiling next year? 50 goals? Wild Card playoffs?
